Hey all,

Another strange question.

But do your gearsticks wobble.... say.... you put it in nuetral and switch the engine off.... then just as the engine dies.. the stick wobbles abit.

When the car is movign tho and in gear.... it only moves a tiny tiny bit..... how do you stop it from moving?
Gear box mounts?
Something else.... or is it suppose to do this?

Cheers.

Nope quite normal...

stick it in neutral and rev it a bit, should rock the lever from left to right... its the engine torque making everything move. i think its cool. :)

putting in really stiff engine and gearbox mounts would probably cause the car to vibrate a good bit, but i dont know from experience.

get an engine damper which will minimise the amount your engine rotates and that should help it.
