Hey guys I got the following problem: when I start the engine, put it in gear and give it a slight rev I get a bit of a grinding sound. It does this in first and reverse with the clutch fully pressed down (i haven't tried the other gears yet). But the thing is it only does this after I start the car, it's fine after that - got this sound to happen again I have to stop the engine and restart it. I haven't noticed any other unusual noises yet.
Any ideas?

*Edit* Oh i forgot to mention it only does it when in gear and only when i hit the gas. if i leave it in neutral i can rev it all day it won`t make that sound witch the clutch pedal pressed or released. The noise is about 2 seconds long and dissapears until the next startup

sound to me like a VTC Rattle from the cam gear, I think I asked this question when I first joined.

Very common issue on them. Doesn't cause any damage, just annoying as hell.
A new VTC cam gear or VTC solenoid normally fixes it.

Or

Your clutch release bearing could be sticking.

Thats what it sounds like to me, but I'd recommend taking it to a garage to be looked at.
