Had the car up on a ramp on Saturday played around with the mounts could find anything worn split or loose but have a horrid knocking noise when the car goes to stall (hasn't been mapped yet) was thinking adding a engine dampener might help. Thoughts?

I don't think putting a engine dampener in to mask the faulty engine mounts is the best plan. Sure the dampener Does help slightly but they do wear out too remember.

Best bet is to buy new engine mounts. And a dampener after if still needed.

Also so would be best to check what's knocking first, seems abit odd and could just be an intercooler pipe hitting on something. Etc etc

To all the above found out what was wrong- HKS air filter has a metal backing and that was knocking on the chassis. Since cable tied to a intercooler hard pipe and had no issues. Engine dampener not needed :D. Thanks Sam, btw nice SIG ;)
