Winkers!

I have a set of smoked "Winkers" to fit (smurks at the word winker)

Can someone let me in on the secret of how the HELL you get the old orange ones out?! Is it a wheel-arch-off jobby?

If you look at one of the units you're about to fit, you'll see one side has the plastic 'clip'. Check which way up your fitted units are compared to the replacement. Push the fitted unit to the side TOWARDS from the clip. Its a right b@stard...

Yes I saw this but hadn't thought of doing it that way - I guessed you'd need to get you're hand in behind the unit and push the 'spring catch' thing from there. I will give your method a try! :thumbs:

I got the same winkers looks good on a pewter s15

It was easy to install.. no need to go behind the panel. Push the orange lens to either side and you'll find that the spring clip compresses more on one side. Helps if you're holding onto the black rubber bit at the back so that you're pulling it out as well. Once that's out, twist to remove the lens from the socket, replace to the orange bulb, twist the smoked lens on and snap it back into place.
