So I've seen a couple of threads on how to install after market steering wheels, but usually with cheap ebay bosses.
Here's is one with the good stuff

Stuff you'll need:
  • Steering wheel of choice
  • Steering boss
  • 30 mins free time

Tools:

  • 10 mm socket
  • 19 mm socket
  • Ratchet
  • T30 security torx key
  • Electrical tape (optional)
  • Flat head screw driver or similar

1. Disconnect Battery
No images here because if you can't do this... Don't attempt the rest!

2. Remove Old Steering Wheel
First pop off the caps on either side that cover up the air bag fixings.

Next, undo the bolts. T30 Security Torx (normal torx won't work). These little buggers are tight so try not to punch something or chew them up!
Unclip the cable on the right. Don't bother trying to do the one on the left just yet.

Slide the air bag out.

You can now disconnect the second cable much easier!

Now you need that 19 mm socket... Lock the steering over to the left or put the steering lock on.
Undo the centre bolt but don't remove. Great tip, you'll have heard it before and saves you a broken nose next!

A couple of good tugs on the top and bottom of the wheel and it will release.
Unscrew the bolt the rest of the way and sit back for a moment.

3. Install Boss
Grab your boss and take off the excess trim so nothing is in the way.
Slide it on with the top arrow in-line with the mark stamped in the spline.
Pop the nut back on and tighten up (hopefully the steering lock is still on).

Grab your resistor and horn connector.
Connect the resistor (I used some electrical tape here to help isolate and secure it).

Connect the horn cable - easy - and tidy up the cable by wrapping around the boss and the horn connector through the hole.

4. Install New Steering Wheel

That part's easy. Face it up, pop the screws in and tighten equally with the Allen key provided or one from your tool box - either is good ;)
Connect the horn, again easy. Just push it on and press the horn button into place.
You may need to persuade the springs in with a thin flat head screw driver.

5. Test!
Reconnect your battery. Turn on the ignition and pap that horn! Make sure the air bag warning lamp isn't on and go for a spin.
Sit back and enjoy

I can't see the pics :/ about to do this myself for the first time.
You're instructions are clear, but was hoping to see pics just for extra measure (as HBK ones are in Japanese) haha.
I just don't want to mess up the resistors.

Sorry dude. The links must have dropped out. I'll update them tomorrow, it's super easy, just have some insulating(electrical) tape to hand!

Any chance of putting the pics back up please? I took my steering cowling off to clean it up and when I replaced it, the airbag light started flashing. I assume I've knocked something.

Yep, tried that while I was waiting for a reply and it worked.
I did the switch on and off seven times rather than the ten I tried earlier.
Cheers.
