Hi Guys

I have (at the moment) a cat-back system, i have a de-cat pipe (having problems with stock bolts, no heads) and am looking to get a front pipe shortly & eventually a manifold.

Looking under my car i have only one silencer (attached to the tailpipe) and a slight bulge before the cat. Every one else the same or should i have two silencers??

Car is quite loud but have heard louder scooby dooby doos around here.

Depends on the exhaust. Most civilized systems are twin box, but the noisy ones have one. Better flow comes at the cost of noise...

Is it possible that the 'buldge' in my system is a form of silencer??

Will fitting and front pipe make it louder??

Is the bulge before (as in downpipe) or after (as in system) the cat?

The downpipe will probably increase the noise slightly due to the better flow. The decat will be noisier...
