So I bought an oem boost gauge off a fella on here and not knowing anything about them presumed it would be a simple vac pipe through the bulkhead job but yeah it's an electrical connection.

How do I go about fitting it? Will the plug / loom be there already? It currently has an oil pressure gauge in the pillar pod.

Unless someone has gone to lengths of removing it then it should all be there buddy. Is clipped onto the pillar behind the cover

I switched them over, and it doesn't register any boost. The only plug there was the one that was used for the oil pressure gauge. Guessing it takes the feed from somewhere else, seeing as it was a spec-s auto in a previous life..? Any way around this?

Ah I was under the assumption it was a spec r mate ! Yeah they normally have oil there in the s so you would have to wire it all in yourself. Maybe easier to get an aftermarket gauge
