hey guys came to get some more knowledge

I just test drove a car. worst conditions, it was raining and was very distracting.

I noticed that the drive in low gears (mostly 1st and 2nd) wasnt smooth. (in reverse too i think)
and the owner said it was due to the 2 way diff installed. He said he has stock and if it they were in it wouldnt be doing it.

Now the problem is that even if you say that yes that is expected, im still unsure if what i felt is the same as what you feel when you drive a 2 way diff.
They say when in doubt move on, but im just worried that what if it wasnt even a problem in the first place and i moved on lol

also, the exedy heavy duty clutch felt way too light. does this mean something?

as always thanks for any help

Someone with abit more knowledge may be able to shed some light but from what iv noticed with a 2 way installed is:

A clunk sound from the diff in the lower gears (1-3) ONLY when engaging gear.

Reverse gives off a louder whine

Wheels locking up in 1st or 2nd gear when turning slowly at 90° angles.

(i have Locking Collars installed also which makes these sounds louder)

Regarding the clutch, iv no experience there...

Hope this helps :)
