Happy New year everyone!!

Just ordered a Walbro 255 Fuel pump. Now i've read that this will provide a good amount of fuel at higher revs, specially if running higher boost.

BUT,

Wouldn't the fuel injectors need upgrading at this point too? if not, why?

Also, with the Walbro 255 installed, what is a 'safe' amount of boost with a boost controller? 10psi? more? less?

Thanks for your patience.
:)

Stock injectors are fine unless you are running above and around 1.2 bar ish, the fuel pump only supplies what the engine needs, and the FPR returns what isn't used to the tank.
It's just best to upgrade it first incase the old pump is tired and cannot supply enough fuel.

On the stock ECU map, I wouldn't go above 11/11.5 psi without getting the AFR's checked to make sure it isn't running lean higher up in the revs.

on the stock ECU my AFR was all good at 1bar running a walbro with the 480s, but that was on 98oct with a 7 spark plug. but 1.2 would be rather lean if you are planning on limit bouncing

im running 14-15 psi with the stock fuel pump and stock injectors and all my levels are safe right through the rev range
