Right hi guys, I've just bought Rota force rims at 18 x 9J et 35 al round! There now going bac as I can't get them to fit at all on the front. I've a fairly standard specR with HSD's. Can someone help me with getting the perfect size rim for the fronts?? :s cheers

What is stopping you fitting them on the front? hitting coilovers? rubbing arch? offest should be fine so could even use spacers and a bit of camber to get them clear and under...

Yea even with 5mm spacers they still hit my coil overs and there to a point where not even stretched tyres will make it legal coz they stick out to far and I don't wana be going down the route of getting bigger arches?? :s

Do HSDs stick out quite far then on S15s? Havent seen them in person..

I'd go for 10-15mm spacers and whack more neg camber on to tuck them under arches..

et is way high, ideal for the front is 10-12, you could run a 25mm spacer, i have 9.5j et30 20mm spacer and a little camber. easily done

I'm 90% percent sure my fronts are 18x8.5 et30 very close to coilovers but no issues at all.

As above I run 8.5 et 30 I have 3 mm spacer on mine though because my teins are huge and rub a little .
I would say for a 9 you would probably want et20

I ran 9J fronts but had to lower the et down to +20 as the wider the rim the closer the inner edge sits to the strut. I ran 8.5j previously with et +30 adn the wheel cleared a lot more than the 9j.

Yea I was thinking an 8/ 8.5J with et 30 might solve it. My hsd's do stick out quite a bit plus I only have standard tracking arms etc. What rims are you lot running on coz I definitely want 18s but found Rota can't help with the right offsets on 18's?? Cheers guys

I've only had it rub when I lowered it to far.

I ran 18x9j et 20 front on hsd's, the car was pretty low with no outrageous camber and never rubbed, even on full lock. Ran 18x9.5j rear with et 45 but I had the run a low et to squeeze the 265 wide 888's in the arch.

xxr 522's fronts are 18x8.5 et30, fitted with 235/40 tyres. 5mm spacer and im running tein control master coilovers and needed slight camber to tuck the wheels in the arches. no rubbing whatsoever.
