Can anyone help me? I'm wondering is there a difference in the clutch kits for the 5 and 6 speed boxes? Not sure if the splines are the same

S14 and s15 cluthes are the same spline mate, just the fly wheel and the fact the s14 is a sprung disc that is different but you can use either / they are interchangeable!! ;)

Wat I mean is will a clutch kit ment for a 5speed fit a 6speed?
There is already a thread on this mate (tho I can't remember where it is :wack: )

Anyway, if you use a 5spd clutch on a 6 spd flywheel, yes it will work on a 6 speed box
But if you use a 5 speed fly on a 6speed box, slave piston won't reach clutch fork, so clutch won't disengage, this is dued to the fact that 5 speed fly is nearly half the thickness of a 6 speed one.
So, basically, a KIT (by kit I mean clutch cover, disc, and flywheel) meant for a 5 speed will not work on a 6 speed box.
