Ecu light and boosting issue?

hi,

sometimes on full boost 1.1bar the Ecu light flashes up and cuts my boost. whilst doing that it backfires alot when not even hitting limiter. then when i come to a stop it just wants to turn off?

i dont understand what it can be to only do it sometimes.

possible faulty afm maybe?

Can you view the fault code? I think Craig posted up a guide somewhere...But ive never had to do it myself...

i cant

i have a power fc so it doesnt work. but the othe problem is my hand controller as froze

You don't have much luck with that car, do you!

If the powerfc has frozen, have you tried disconnecting the battery to see if it starts playing again? Clutching at straws really as I am not familiar with the apexi but normally when anything ecu controlled (idle/tickover etc) has played up On any of my cars the first thing I do is reset the ecu by dissing the battery and turning on the lights...

You need to get the tune checked, it's having issues with your AFR's or knock levels and flashing the ECU light.

its actually booked in for a map with pro tuner on june 8th once my new turbo, injectors and afm are fitted.

rekon i should leave it till then and turn the boost down abit?

I'd turn the boost down :nod: As said the light flashing could be knock warning, but the PFC will do the same for Injector duty and Maf if the features are turned on
