I have just noticed one of my rear brake rubber gaiters around the piston has come away from the caliper body end.
I have damaged it trying to work it back in.
Anyone know if you need to rebuild the caliper to refit this?
Anyone know if you can buy just the piston gaiter? From Nissan?
I assume the S15 part is the same part as on the S14 200sx.

That would have let dirt get in so yeah rebuild it. I'm sure Ni$$an would have it but try a brakes specialist shop first, and yep it's the same as s14

Well my local Nissan dealer wants £70+VAT for a caliper rebuild kit (all the seals) and would need to order from Japan.
Also its not somethign they would do themselves, calipers are 'throwaway' items!

I will keep lookign for where to get these seals, if anyone can tell me let me know! Or of any brake specialists in the UK.

Oh I will give Horsham Developments a call as they are local and S body specialists.

Try Apex Performance or DB-Power. I'm sure Apex sell them but DB may be cheaper.

Thanks for those I was not aware of them. Have ordered from Horsham which was much less than the Nissan price but DB's build for the build kit is a lot less again.
