i spose cos last one of the version is called RX7 bathurst R ?
i always thought when ppl say batty they mean that specific version

Bathurst means nothing to the uninitiated Europeans. :p So, it must have been a Southern Cross special... :nod:

I suppose its confusing when we refer to Imprezas as 'Scoobies'... :nod:

I was under the impression that the series 7 looks like the bat mobile so is also known as a batty.

correct, the Series 6+ Rx7 was affectionately dubbed the Batmobile by many on it's release as it looked like, well the batmobile. However, owning one is no excuse to wear spandex and your underpants on the outside :D.
