Hi All,

have heard of this forum for some time now.. been meaning to join up

well i have an Aus spec 01 s15 in brilliant blue, has minor mods at this stage:

- FMIC
- 3' turbo back
- Apexi suction kit

still saving $$$ for the exterior JDM look im after.. and later on down the track a tough street engine rebuild - something to get me into the mid/low 12's hopefully..

anywho here she is at current - she's coming along nicely.. still a long way to go!

watch this space for some more JDM goodness.. :nod:

Looks well j-sx :thumbs: and you won't get much more JDM than an Aero front bar :nod: You just need to lose the spoiler or get a matching aero one

hopefully il be able to make the cruise..

im going for the JDM tough look, simple yet standing out & complimenting the natural lines of the 15..

wasnt too specific in terms of plans.. but in summary..

purchased:
- carbon fibre stereo surround
- defi 60mm bf amber boost (psi), oil press (psi) & oil temp gauges in air con vents to install
- HKS type 1 turbo timer
- profec B 2 EBC to install (set to 12psi - factory fuel pump & internals etc)
- spec S boot lid (spoiler-less) to bolt on
- JDM a pillar boost gauge cup to bolt on (that will hold autometer carbon fibre A/F ratio


other mods:
- full aero kit - front, rear, sideskirts are genuine $$
- nismo titanium GT shift knob with custom black lether gear boot
- 15% tints

future mods:
- 18's work meister's 3p in black with decent offset
- shock & spring combo rather then coil overs (streeter - will go for bilstein shocks & tein s techs i think)
- Ganador mirror's
- remove ALL badges (inc bonnet)

& id say thats my stage 1 complete.. until i do the engine rebuild : ) all in time i know..

i noticed there's alot of fellow aussie s15 brother's out here.. hello all.. hopefully we get to meet & hit a nice cruise.

interesting to see tuning styles in the UK & around the world.

imperial type units (psi) are sold in the USA.. got it from there.. the particular site i purchased from is "extremepsi" their prices are decent...

good investment... everyone else has KPA.. so im a tad fussy i guess..

Go back and get the springs from the spec S :nod: the spoiler is quite heavy and the lighter bootlid apparently shoots up when you pull the lever with the lighter bootlid on, there was a thread on here a while ago...
