Hello  Its that time of the month and I don't know what to do with myself lol. I currently run an Revision 2 mr2 turbo that has a fair few toys pushing out 287 whp. My downside is going back to college full time, and fancying something new.

I was just wondering how good are the spec S's? main thing is MPG, I love the look of them so not to bothered about speed, as fuel costs are killing me lol

What sort of price should I pay for a spec s and is anyone selling one?

My lil two in action.

I must say, that is a nice MR2. Looks like you are having some fun!

Just so you know, 10l/100km is 28mpg. That seems very low for a 2.0l NA... I'm getting 27mpg from my 330bhp Spec R...

The DE isn't the most efficient engine though. It's 165hp 2.0L rated around 10L/100km . vs say the H22a Honda Prelude engine, which is 220hp 2.2L rated around 8.5L/100km.

From memory. ;)

And, driven gently the sr20det wouldn't necessarily use more fuel - you have a larger power band, so if you stay in the low end you could be pretty fuel efficient.
