Hello All,

My name is Lloyd, I'm from Selby, North Yorkshire, but currently living and studying in Nottingham.

I know this is an owner's club, but I do not own an S15.. yet! - I have been looking around for quite a while for an S15 Spec-R, and of course I stumbled upon this forum many times and thought it was finally time to sign up and say hello.

Being in my final year of study, the possibility of getting an S15 is finally on its way to becoming a reality!!
:D

I have been in touch with a number of Importers such as Torque GT, and JM Imports (particularly helpful so far) and have been searching through the Japanese dealer ads - haven't managed to get access to auction stock lists yet...
(Any other suggestions are welcome but I've only heard good things from these two companies and will probably end up using one of them)

This is the favourite at the minute -

Thanks guys!

Welcome!

For importers, Torque GT always seem to get good reviews and who I'd probably use when I import again, despite the distance. I've used JM-Imports for servicing and found them to be great as well. I personally used DCY (near York) and got a clean car through them but for servicing they didn't seem very reasonable compared to other specialists. If you want access to some auctions, I think there's a username/pass you can use on JM-Imports that shows some upcoming ones.

Good luck finding a tidy S15!

Only thing about these "big companies" is the amount of money they stick on top! It's actually retarded sometimes.

I would use japancardirect or OPJP as they are way cheaper and get you the exact same result .

In fact japancardirect.com is run from Chiba/Tokyo unlike others who do it online through a 3rd party inspector .

It's very easy to do yourself so if your on a budget I would avoid the big companies. I just do it all myself really.

Or buy one from one of the owners on here that's in the UK, at least you can go and see it before you buy..

I have to admit, I agree. But after sifting through so many. You will guarantee that I get a car with out baggage if u know what I mean. E.g rust in engine bay etc etc
