As Mike's a bit shy in coming forward with his photos, I sneaked a camera shot today... :p

Mr. Nicely or not should I say (very sneeky mate) :)

Who said I was shy, eh? eh? To be honest I have just been to busy avoiding it getting vandalised, repairing two wheel bearings and I haven't had the weather to take good pictures.

What do you guys think of the Wisesquare lights on the rear of the yellow?

I have to say that the lights when lit up at night are fantastic. Each light component has a chrome affect. I think if they were black or carbon effect they would match the front headlights better and look more appropriate ona yellow car.

I felt slightly dodgy taking the photo from my car. Probably not as bad as if I'd asked to see 'Kango' at reception though... :wack:

About the same as I thought of them on blue initially. Took a bit of getting used to, then look great :)
Your's look slightly darker than mine. I wish I could take the lense cover off and see what colour would look best. Wouldn't want to go down the smoked tinted route :no:

Can you post up or send me the information on the other LED's for the front and rear? I definately want to get them changed over now I have seen what the the tail lights look like.

For those reading the current update to the car is:

Bought (Installed / Ready to install):

New Lightning badge;
New front bearings;
New alloy wheel nuts (others seized on - unbelievable);
New Double DIN 7" Widescreen AV system;
New RED DOT grooved/dimpled front brake discs;
S15 4-pot Front Calipers (to be serviced before fitting);
New in-car REVO DAB system;
New Front and Rear Strut Braces;

To buy next (next few months):

New Front and Rear Brake pads;
New Rear RED DOT grooved/dimpled rear discs;
New Apex Comfy Coilovers and alignment set;
New Apex Induction Kit;
New CAT back exhaust;

Quite a list building up :eek:

I like that OEM front and rear fog combo on the stalk :nod: Must look into intergrating the dash fog warning light too :nod:

I'll check all the LED types and sources when I get home.

Those lights look pretty good.
I would have prefered the chrome bit in black though.

i guess you could open them up and paint it. But I wouldn't feel comfy about opening up genuine wise-square lights.

If i get rich I'll buy some wise squares and repaint the interior of them black :)

:nod: When it comes to brake/fog and indicator LEDs, you have to get ones with the brightest and most number of LEDs. You also have to remember they are only forward visible. This is why a completely different bulb type is needed for the front indicators. They are viewed from the side, not front of the bulb. Normal forward facing LED bulbs would just point up at the inside top side of the headlight unit... :wack:
