nice one nicely.. :notworthy:

A question for ya'll, are these two s15:s fitted with the same wide bodykit?

Cause the silver one got an grade "R" instead of the purple ones "1"

The Pewter one doesnt have a widebody kit

Also the R means its been repaired, i.e. crashed. the grade 1 means its modified from standard.

As Topper said, The silver one has been accident repaired. It could be graded R/1 for modified and repaired. But it's up to the guy setting the grades I suppose if he thinks it's a "modified" item or not

By looking at the auction sheet the silver one has alot of panels exchanged.
Both front fenders
hood
passenger door
passenger side side skirt.

There is some remarks about the panel changes in the sheet, but I can't read japanese so I have no idea what it's saying.

Considering allt the panel exchanges, It might have been in a pretty big crash. But I'm only speculating here.
It has a higher interior grading compared to the purple one though :)

Edit: BjornE, Do you have access to see the auction sheet?
If not I can supply you with a link and login so you can have a look for yourself.

Rx7 ummm nice.
just top it up with engine oil at every refil station you stop at and it be just fine. also make sure its got its full rebuild at 70,000km think the tip at the rotaty weir so it needs that rebuild.

just make sure you got a someone that can rebuild them, we in ireland have only one guy that specialist in rotatry rebuild and hes not cheap.

it is a good car if well maintained.

Thanks for positive reactions from y'all! :D

Raytsang: It's a friend of mine who is selling the seven, he and his companion is two of the best rotarymechanics/importers in Sweden so I belive I can trust them. Also I've got a 6month engine-warranty as said in previous post..

Yakozan: I will go to Katrineholm and have a look at it tomorrow (25th), WITH the white ones on, photos will be shot and posted..
Not sure if the seven is gonna stay black though, I'm considering a wing, hood, rearspoiler and some sideskirts to make it even cooler, and if I do I'd better respray the whole car and not just these parts.
Wouldn't it be a shame to put on the same colour as before when I can get another one for almost the same price? :p

Looks good. Good luck with the cheese engine :p
:D

Good on you for taking the plunge, I hope it doesn't sting your wallet too much! Do some homework on the car, there are many things you need to be aware of which could save you some costly rebuilds.

One word of warning, if you plan to modify it - and this includes minor mods such as exhaust and filter - you need to get an aftermarket ECU (unless it has one already). If you don't, you'll get another chance on your new engine. :D

Must admit i am a fan of the RX7 , although the engine put me off so i bought the S15 instead :D

Looking at the link for the purple S15 i noticed this -

Grade 4.0-Small scratch, tiny dent, less than 100,000km - In the auction it was grade 1, cheeky!

Also the interior is horrible, and i'm not even going to mention the doors -
