G'day everyone I'm just wondering does anyone know how to check if an S 15 was Australian delivered or not?
Porsches have stickers at certain places that will certify just such a thing, and i was wondering if the S 15 has a similar setup?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Brad.

you can tell from the chassis number, but there are a number of differences that are easy to tell. A rear wiper is a dead giveaway that it is a JDM and the ADM has reflectors in the rear bar.

Once you know what you are looking for you will be able to pick them from a distance. If you need any more info, let us know.

differences between JDM and ADM

headlights (parker light surround)
tailights (reverse lense is pinkish)
no rear wiper
anolog climate control
nissan badge on bonnet
steering wheel with nissan on it
260km speedo
journal bearing T28 (not BB)
manual fold in mirrors (JDM has auto fold in)
and a normal car smell (not sushi and tofu) lol
and could be more but they are the main ones i know of

There are a number of factory options the JDM models had over the ADM ones such as digital climate control, rear wipers, gauge on A-pillar, mirrored passenger visor etc.

But there are things on the outside of the car that are giveaways, the ADM rear bar has reflectors as previously mentioned. JDM models have the silvia lightning badge on bonnet as well as silvia badge on bootlid as opposed to 200sx on the ADM model. JDM steering wheel also had the lightning logo on it as well.

There are many other factory options that havent been mentioned also.

As mentioned earlier.. probably the easiest would have to be the climate control. I've heard it can be a pain to convert the Australian A/C controls to the digital climate control.

Steering wheels, badges, reflectors, boost gauges, mirrors in visors etc etc are relatively easier to change in comparison.
