I bought A Nissan consult,, but all i get is the message ( can't detect the device ) =) =).. anbody got same problem.???

Could be just system settings...? Which program you using for it?

I.m using ScanTech Nissan..!

Recheck your com-port settings from programs. Do you have ignition turned to ON?

I'm using EcuTalk and working fine. I think also Datascan found my ecu.

My laptop only has 2 Usb ports,, So I end up using either port 7 or 8.. Have now downloaded Nissan datascan.. and will try that also later..

and then I bought a rs232 to usb connector too.

Some programs doesn't seem to work properly with anything but com port 1.

I have blaZt usb consult cable.

Friend have that specific consult adapter with usb converter and seems to work aswell (with S14), but not sure which prog he was using.

Just tested and It didnt work.... Hmm

I'am thinking about buying a rs232 to vga cable and try with that,, or a Usb hub with 4 ports.. =)
