The headlights haze up due to the UV light. A garage is the best solution but once they are crazed, theres not a fat lot you can do to them as the damage is already done.

If you look closely at the plastic you'll see loads of micro cracks within the plastic. This is what can't be removed. Metal polish normally works well for brightening up plastic lenses too :)

On my old passenger light I used 2000 grit wet and dry, then went over with G3 compound, then renovo plastic polish, and it came up quite well, but I have since changed it for a new one. Not because it was cloudy though, it had had a repaired bracket.

Basically I followed the guide that Mint made when he did his headlights.

I reckon we should ask him if he'd mind us copying his guide and sticking up on here

Dunno about all these damn 15 boys but I saw a smart red Lexus with AVS rims lol :p

Alan Partridge eat your heart out:

I was keeping up with an MR2 and some others... sadly the Halfords touring cars were just a bit too quick!! lol

This is my 15. I didn't take the photo, it was in the Japfest media thread on SXOC

Are they corvette wheels?
Never seen anything like that on a Silv before.
Did they bolt straight on?

Yeah, Corvette C4 sawblades I had refurbished in light anthracite. I got the 17x9.5 all round, but they made them in 8.5 and 11 as well. I was surprised when I got them and saw Japan cast into the back seeing as they are off an American car!

I had to get conversion spacers made to fit them, as they are 5x4.75" PCD, where the S15 takes 5x4.5".

The only other Jap cars I've seen them on are an Impreza wagon, and a S2000, both in America.

Lovely car James! My ideal wheels combo,GTR-D's rock!! you just need some pretty looking drill and grooved discs to replace those old ones.
