HKS exhaust will be cat back.

The S15 has just the one cat. It was just the S14a in Europe which had two.

Downpipe and turbo elbow is the same as the S14.

You can get a decat and turbo elbow from Creasey on SXOC.

Have you seen the post in For Sale for the HKS exhaust?

my japanese exhasut systems dont come with replacement cats mate.. BUT, the catback section and the fron pipe will bolt straight up to the STANDARD cat on your S15... u wont need any replacement cats unless u wanted less restriction go for a high flow cat.. The HKS is a very loud system lol!!

hope that helps

Yes they are loud, owning one myself. But the new ones are the HKS Hi-Silent Power, which are a tad lower in volume.

Mine's a Silent Hi-Power with decat and downpipe and I find it quieter than any other Jap exhaust I've heard... It was measured at 85dB @4500 on a track day in August.

thanks everyone for your help

i like the sound the HKS silent hi-power makes,i have one on my other car
its not too loud but gives a nice burble.

so you cant get a full system designed for s15,its bit of both being as the s14 bits fit.

my next question is do you get any problems with the engine management light comming on ?
( due to the air flow metre/lamber sensor )

The S15 cat back exhaust is different to the S14. Only the downpipe and turbo elbow are the same, both of which are sold separately.

You shouldn't be getting the engine management light coming on at all. I've only had it come on once and that was when I was playing with settings using the Consult interface and Datascan software.

You need to get it plugged in at Nissan, or find your nearest friendly SXOC member with a Consult....
