Ok folks,

I know we have household names such as Driftworks, SRB Power, DB Power, Apex Performance, Nengun, Perfectrun and RHDJapan etc... plus our very trusty S15OC traders but thought it might be an idea to list recommended retailers for all the bits and pieces that help us either create our own mods, do general DIY dress up/repair work etc.

This should prevent the same questions being asked over time if people were to use the search facility :)

So I'll start...

Genuine Carbon Fibre Sheets/Splitters/Vinyl/Kits
Carbon Mods
http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/

Aluminium/Stainless Steel Sheets/Plates
Click Metal
http://www.clickmetal.co.uk/

Silicone Hoses/Hose Clips
Venair Silicone Hose World
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Venair-Silicone-Hose-World

OEM Service Parts (e.g. Aux Belts)
Import Car Parts
http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/

OEM Braking Parts
Brakes International
http://www.brakesint.co.uk/

Only rule for posting recommendations is you have to have used them before and there must be phone number or website link attached

I will second Carbon Mods! - Mat has a lot of stuff from there, which he will be fitting for next season! They use high quality materials - rather than the crap others use. He's also seen their lamination processes and they work to the same standard as any touring car team.

Excellent idea LuPix

Willem from race.fi (http://forum.s15oc.com/member.php?1732-Race.Fi) is a trader on here and is a really nice guy to deal with. I was looking for a few small parts that a lot of other well known suppliers wouldn't or couldn't get for me and Willem spent a lot of time finding and sorting them out for me. There was a bit of a delay with the parts due to the nature of them but Willem kept me updated the whole way through (even when he didn't have an update for me he still PM'd me to let me know he was chasing it and would get them to me as soon as he could). Plus he can get parts in even if they're not listed on the website. He's based in Finland but he still worked out cheaper than I had expected!

Some Irish ones here

For all your detailing needs :D

Really nice lads, great service and even better prices! They're based in Wexford (New Ross) but post nationwide and they have the best de-tar product I have ever used!!!

Alignment / suspension set up, servicing etc

John did all the work / servicing etc on my S15, he's based in Co Westmeath (Killucan) and he will do anything from a regular service to fabricating exhaust manifolds, port and polish, full rebuilds, engine swaps etc. He can be a bit hard to contact at times because he competes in the Time Attack championship and does services / set ups etc for a lot of his competitors and some of the ITCC boys, but he is well worth the hassle

Another good place for alignment in the midlands is A line in Dudley. They have got very good prices for full alignments using really good kit.
You get print outs of the before and after so you can see what is going on. They keep a record of the car, so if you go back again you can see what has altered since the last visit.

Yes yes heard good things about A Line mate - I took mine to Chemix last time but thinking of going to A Line next time :)

Crispyk - have a chat to Dan @ SRB Power or Albert/Joe @ Knight-Racer (you can get both numbers by searching Google). They're all good friends and will do their best to supply what you need at very competitive prices ;) Just say James LuPix sent ya
