Cam cover paint ideas.

Guys as you know i have the blue and white theme going on.

I cant decide what colour to paint my cam cover and plenum.


Blue or white. Or red as i have red calipers.

Here is a pic of the car so you can see the contrast.

What colour do you guys think?

I painted my rx7 sr cam cover and plenum on sat and now i have the bug to do it to the s15.

i reckon blue with white lettering on the cam cover, and white with blue lettering on the spark plug cover, but then again i'm not sure lol

provided you stick to your theme it will probably look great either way

i got a pearl white one

if your going for a big spec then black sleeper style
or a candy or black chrome

i prefer the rocker cover smooth with the writting removed. Have you considered doing this?

Grinding the lettering off is to much work and i cant be arsed to do it. But i know what you mean it does look good.

You got the white one fitted on your 15 si? if so pics?

This is my smoothed cover. It takes about 5-10 minutes max to grind the lettering off, it's the coilpack cover that takes a while to do. I also polished the washer bits of the bolts to a nice shine while they were off.

Go for the candy blue paint. I purchased my candy magenta paint from these guys and the paint is mega:

Just make sure you put a decent sparkle silver down first and the final effect will be gleaming.
