I'm sure this has been covered but I think it may have been on the old forum.

A'PEXi has just installed FAST but is getting 'err 5, cd not found'. Who had this and how did you get round it?

He's done the install correctly, including the NSFASTKY.INI... Running XP.

Tried burning it to a CD?
Or if that's the case already, try copying the content over to the harddrive.

I believe its on the hard drive. I have this setup too and had no problems on two different machines...

I might try burning it to a cd, should I leave the files in the A2 directory, or copy all the files directly to the root directory of the cd?

Thanks.

Not sure.
I think you burn to the root directory and name the CD "A2".
Someone might want to correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm just guessing now.

I was just about to suggest putting them on a CD. Mine was on CD originally, so I can check the setup. Won't be till this evening though, I'm afraid (its 8am now)

Yep, give the CD a label of 'A2', then burn all the files and directories on the root of it. :)

Change the CD location in FAST Setup to your CD drive.
