hi...

i got a e-manage piggyback(the blue casing, not the latest e-manage ultimate) install in my s15 JDM version. as we know JDM s15 got a speedcut which is at say 180km/h.
my question is does the e-manage piggyback has speedcut? so that i can go above 180km/h

hopefully some e-manage users could provide me this information

thank you :) :) :)

Welcome to the forum.

As far as I'm aware, you can't remove the speed limiter using an Emanage. Think you can do it with a APEX'i RSM and probably a PFC.

Certainly can't find a setting in the Support Tool.

JDM S15s are always de-restricted as part of the import process in the UK. Not sure what they do...

just get an Apexi turbo timer, that will do it
lol..... apex'i turbo timer will not remove the speedlimit lo
apex'i RSM will do the job, gen 1 is cheaper super cheap now, but hard to find
gen 2 is easier to use, price still the same lo

There is also digital speed meters from Ultra and Pivot which removes the speed limiter.
I think they're cheaper then the Apexi one.

the UK S15s are fitted with a little box which converts the km/h reading to mph. And I think that also moves the speed limiter from 180 km/h to 180 mph.
I think Kieran has got my converter :)

thanks for all the information guys.

actually i got myself a apexi RSM installed in my car, but is just that i though of selling it to my friend because i feel it is useless if my e-manage could do a speed cut on my s15. so now, i decided to keep it until i got myself a programmable ecu.

thanks for the info guys :) :)

Sorry bringing this topic back to Emanage, would there be a big advantage of changing from Blue Emanage & Z32 afm to Ultimate Emanage and running map sensors??

I'm thinking of changing but not sure if it worth doing.

On your setup, no. I would also be inclined to wait for the problems people with SR20DETs have been experiencing with Ultimates have been resolved.

If I ever upgrade, it will be to a PFC.

Aus Spec s15 has no speedcut and our speedo is 260km/h
This is not quite true a couple of the tuners on nissansilvia.com have stated that the aus spec is limited to either 240 or 250 (as per ecu on the dyno) the reason that some people have gone over the 260kmph is the inaccuracy of the speedo at that speed assuming they haven't had the limiter removed.

Yep, this is true. The recognized limit on the S14/a is 155mph. This doesn't apply to UK imported JDM S15s though. They were limited to 112mph, but this is removed at import.

The underpowered ADM Spec R does 149 officially. As there is quite a power difference between the ADM and JDM versions, I'd say 'over 155'...
