There was some talk about carbon fibre airboxes and it lead to organising a group buy
with JustJap based in Sydney/Australia. I'm after one to shield my pod filter from the
engine bay heat which we think is causing me detonation. So here are the details...

JustJap informed me that there are only a limited amount in stock, approximately 15, and
once they run out it will take months to bring in another shipment, so get in quick!
I'll collect all the airboxes and will send them individually to each person via
EMS SERVICE, with tracking number, and insurance, using "Australia Post" which is
our national postal service.

Called this morning and got these details:



Regarding Z32 AFM this is exactly what they say:

They will fit the Z32 AFM with or without trimming depending how you decide to mount the AFM.

Regarding shipping and other costs: I sent something yesterday to Germany using "Registered Post International" - now there is a tracking number on this, and you must sign for the parcel once you receive it, BUT there is NO online tracking available, you MUST CALL the office to ask them to track it for you.

Now the other option is slightly more expensive (~$10 more) and it is "EMS" - it's fast, you get online tracking, and you sign for the parcel when you get it. I think EMS service is the way to go here as I'm not prepared to call the office to ask where 15 carbon fibre airboxes are around the world haha!

So here are some quotes I got, these are APPROXIMATE prices but I've tried to be as accurate as I can, keep in mind exchange rates change all the time too so today it might be 50 euro the next it could be 55 euro. I will be shipping with insurance, I don't want to take the risk of no insurance for such a lovely item

I think i will have to leave this for a while, £100 for the unit is good :thumbs: but after the £38 postage and the £8 insurance and then the pay pal fee of approx £8 and then the customs charge on top if it gets caught, it could work out to be around £175 by the time it gets here....

As Roots 82 said. The pod itself is a great deal but the additional cost mean I'm going to have to give this a miss.

Gotta save some money for the cooling panel potentially anyway.
