Stole from another thread... this guys dun it, jus turned the battery 90deg

That's a different FMIC design. The standard battery won't fit with the Apex FMIC. Even with the smaller battery I mentioned above, it has to be fitted at 90 degrees.

If you're fitting the Apex kit, I'll be very surprised if you don't have to trim the bumper...

I won't put my battery in the boot. Apart from it being a complete ball ache running the cables, it will also ut extra strain on the battery running the current the entire length of the car. Particularly the turn-over current...

Ive used a 4awg cable for the battery relocation, and it starts jus as it always has...

Just checked. The battery in that photo isn't the standard JDM one. The JDM battery is 15cm x 24cm. The space is 15 x 20.5...

Not saying the cable isn't up to it, just that it has to run the length of the car, where it previously only ran a couple of feet max.
