I've been spending alot of time searching for new alloys
and i think i've narrowed it down to 2 sets i really like, just have to choose 1 now...

i'm getting 17"'s so what offset do i need ?
i'll be running on apex coilovers when i get them fitted.

Show us pics of the wheels :)

What width are you looking at?
The offset will be different depending on the width.

My wheels are
17" 7J in the front with offset +32
17" 8J in the rear with offset +37 (or was it +38? Can't remember)

Get some pics up :D

Mine are 17 x 9j with +17 offset....... dont get these

I would go for 17 x 8.5, offset around the +25 to +30 mark

Sure the sizes etc were mentioned in another thread :)

Recommended S15 offsets are here :)

Be aware that you may need spacers at the front to clear the coilovers. They sit lower and wider than the standard struts.

 Those first ones look similar to mine. :)

Spacer-wise, its difficult to say until you've got the coilovers, wheels and tyres on. Mine clear....just. Its very tight. So tight that they may not like it at MoT time.

Damn - hard choice! I like the Gram Lights as they're less fussy, but I saw a Blue S15 at Torque with similar wheels to the second picture and they did look good (except they were gold! :hurl: )

Gram lights I reckon. :)

Wheels look sweet,

On the spacer issue, you wont need spacers if you get the right offset

7.5 on the rear is not enough, that would mean a tyre of around 225 of the rear, mind you would be cheap when the time comes to get news slippers for them

ok people the deals been done

i've been into my work and ordered the gramlights :D

kaz our japanese parts guy has just come back from japan,he's been with rays all last week
he brought me back all the info i wanted inc the offsets/sizes and finish.
The rays wheel is highly polished all over and on the photos he had they looked very bling
the gramlights are greyish silver with a stainless jacket.

i'm just off to re morgage the house to pay for them, even though my work has done me an excellent deal,
big thanks to Gavin & Kaz at coordsport

only problem is i've now got at least a 6 week wait

Just up the morgage a bit and have them airfreighted to the UK by Concorde. Then you should have them very soon :)
