ok i will go for apexi then u should of sold urs to me.... :D
You might want to check if someone could make a custom adapter for the Apexi filter.
More than half of the Power intake kit costs is the adapter to the AFM.
Not very priceworthy considering its only a piece of steel

You're gonna love the flutter you'll get after installing the filter.
3rd gear, full gas wait until boost is aproximately 0.5 bar, and then let go of the gas :) PRICELESS :D

so best to egt them off apex performance then??
I paid about the same for my full Apexi kit from Nengun as Apex performance is charging for Apexi filter with their own made adaptor.
I was relieved of VAT

So you could get away cheaper than apex-performance if you find a good price in Hong Kong.

If Apex didn't trade according to UK law, they could get similar prices.
Yes. Was going to buy from them first. But they didn't have it in stock for the S15. So that would mean a 2 week wait.
I thought I might aswell import one myself a little bit cheaper and it wouldn't take any longer time.

But a  for apex performance. The sell good stuff for very good prices.... We need an apex performance in Sweden :(

I've split these post into a separate thread as we've all managed to take poor Hunter's thread completely off topic.

The S15 kit should be exactly the same as the S14 one...

Oops. Though it was a induction filter thread

The apexi filter for the S15 has the same part number as the S14.
I assume apex was temporary out of stock for the moment.

Well, putting the economical aspect aside. The Apexi filter is supposed to be the best out there.
Saw a test when they tested filtering and power gains on Apexi, K&N, Blitz and HKS. The Apexi came out first, the KN second. Think the Blitz one finished last because of poor filtering.

I can try to dig the test up for people to read.

Edit: Anyone else with a Apexi kit found it very hard to mount one of the brackets to the strut tower?
I gave it a try and then decided to skip that bracket and only use the lower one. Filter sits nice and tightly anyway :)

What did I say about the SUS and HKS mushroom? A tea strainer would be more efficient... Its not even as though they had the biggest performance gains either.

I know which one I want doing my filtering. Some people choose to accept all sorts of things when it looks and sounds good. How does he know that it filters fine? Nothing's broken yet?
