Went to the SXOC Apex meet today, was a cool day. Never seen so many SX's in one place at the same time, was at least 30 cars there. Spent ?500 I had no intention of spending before I left home. Oh well Ive got front and rear pads for my M3 kit and some Nismo 740's to fit now.

Just realised this is a totally pointless without pictures but allthough I had my camera all I took was three pictures of a lovely Starion. Sorry.

You should go to JAE....

Would like to go to an Apex meet, but four hours drive is bit much...

Andy did you get the M3 conversion and 740's for under 5 hundred pounds?

Didnt get the brake kit from Bren but all in it cost me just over 500 for the brake kit, injectors, ferodo front pads and black stuff rears. Still more money than I should have spent 2 weeks before I move into my new house. :(

See below for pics.

As did a number of Bristol peeps. Like I said though, couldn't be arsed. :p If it was something like JAE, I'd do it. Plus, you've got to remember that Bren doesn't do these with just an SXOC meet in mind. He wouldn't be closed today if he did... :indiff:

Besides, he gets enough of my money without me driving for eight hours, spending ?70 on petrol and saying hello to a few people for, at most, a couple of hours. :)

Ah, yes. But JAE is a three day event :) The Tartans all stayed at a Travelodge on the Sunday and drove back Monday last year.

I'm being quite :ghey: and staying at the Travel Inn Friday and Saturday nights :p Camping is for younger people than me (unless your name's Ken :D ).

You kidding?! Prefer the camping...

Look at it this way:

Camping:
have to lug everything in the car
have to put up tent and shite
uncomfortable
cold
constantly woken by noise
constant woken by your neighbour's snoring
constantly woken by all the Scooby tw@ts trying to flame-out ALL through the night
preparing breakfast on a calor ring
no electric
share the showers, toilets
play hunt the bog roll
feel like shite all day cos didn't get any sleep

Travel Inn:
book in
comfortable bed in quiet location
personal shower and bog
prepared cooked breakfast
electric
arrive on the stand clean and fresh

:D
