fitting a dump valve on s15..help

i have a dump valve and want to fit it on to the hardpipes in the s15..i have connected the big pipe end on to the connection on the hard pipe on the drivers side and the small pipe is now tee,d in to the boost gauge line, but car cuts out when you put in the clutch when its still moving...!is seems like a vacume leak but im 100% there is no leak.and dump valve is new...what could be wrong...please help thanks

you need a twin piston at the very least on cars with an afm to prevent idle problems, sounds like you fitted a single piston which is no good......

a single piston i think will allow unmetered air into the intake after the maf and mess everything up. if you want a dumo valve thenyes, it has to be a twin piston or re-circulating.:)
