Hello.

A couple of weeks ago I discovered that I had aftermarket dampers on my car :)
Can't find much info on them though and wondered if enyone here knows anything about them.

They're called "Bridgestone Potenza damper for street"

the only info I've found is this.

"Bridgestone FVS
POTENZA Damper for STREET kai F:4step R:8step Adjustable (Yen)58,400
POTENZA Damper for STREET F:4step R:8step Adjustable (Yen)84,200"

from this site http://fto-tension.web.infoseek.co.jp/fto/parts/ashi-e.html

According to this site they're both adjustable.
But exactly what is adjustable? damper hardness?

Any info is appriciated :)

Edit:
A pic form the web of the dampers I have

Is there a dial or and allen key head on top to adjust damper setting. Is car also lowered? It looks like a Suspension kit ie spring and damper.

there is a nut on top of the front suspension. Haven't looked at the back.
Could that be the adjustment thingie?
Car is slightly lowered, so I guess there is lowering spring on it to.

I first thought that the car only had lowering springs but after som investigating I found out that was not the case.
It's set pretty darn hard so I would like it a bit softer :ghey:

Didn't know either until I looked at the stickers on the strut which said "Potenza damper for street" and googled it :)
