ok.
Since my muffler on catback has gone dead, I'm going to replace it.
I will still have my tip but I will get one resonator behind the cat.
This is straight simple as I don't want to attract cops attention so similar sound will produce with this.
So I don't think there is anything else than resonator. normal pipe will be too loud..
Also I am considering changing the cat to a resonator. When I do this, I may get front pipe as well.
Is there any difference between brand ones and just normal custom work?
She said material is same and thickness is about 2? I can't remember....
The only thing is brand. The flow should be same.
Is there any main thing I have to consider?

i've decided to have front pipe and resonator then more like muffler type resonator and then tip
It should be around same noise level with what I have now or maybe quieter.
I can't wait till I find new sound
I hope it will serve me good.
Not too noisy, not too quiet. Just right :D

yea my exhaust sound is loud too, its custom work all the way. 2.5" down pipe, with a 3" cat pipe then all the way 3" with 3" jun muffler. could it be too free flow? cos it feels i lost a few hp with this system

Most people in the UK buy 3 inch downpipes...

Biggest power loss in your system would be the cat and turbo elbow (dump pipe).

Oh, and welcome!

so do u think i should go all the way with 3"? n probally with a bigger dump pipe? won't it result in power lose due to, too free flow?

Not unless I'm very lucky with my setup. :p

I'm running 207rwKW with a 3 inch downpipe, decat and HKS Hi-Power Silent (3 inch), along with a lovely wide dump pipe and tubular mani. Just under 1 bar boost. And being a Hi-Power Silent, its fairly quiet (84dB @ 4500rpm).

my setup is 3: all the way with one resonator, muffler and tip.
It's even quieter than before!! and more free flow.(but i still have a little restriction on muffler tho)
in cabin, I 'just' notice the exhaust sound but more like engine bay sound.
