at the end, it all comes to the tyre size.
I am running with 17 8 front and back both with 38
but for front i have 225 and for rear i have 235 tyres.
I have to run 5mm spacer on the front to match with guard.
It is ok to leave it just like that but I want the maximum looking
so I guess when the wheels chosen then the tyre size must be chosen carefully

Difficult to say. Going to depend on how they sit. And if you intend changing you supsension and lowering. 225s is a good bet for front. 245, maybe 255 for back. I've got the same question with mine. And the offset isn't as good...

I have 17x9j's with +17 offset, 215 fronts, 225 rears. Would +10 not make them stick out even further?? as they are already out past the arch.

Nice choice of wheels  :D

Have you got wide front arches mate? When I tried 17 * 9's with a 19 offset on mine they stuck out about 1 inch past the outer edge of the arch.

Nope, when i got the car it was running a fair chunk of camber, but with that corrected the wheel stick out 15-20mm from the arch :) The tyres are streched so the tyre is under the arch but the wheel aint :p
