Right. Someone is coming to view the car today... I’m getting pretty much what I want for it.

Do you guys recommend importing through a company or buying locally? If I go through I company I’ve got the reassurance of warranty for the engine and gearbox (Torque GT)
It’ll obviously cost me more than buying locally though... but I’m pretty much guaranteed a straight, decent car.
locally id save myself a few grand... but no guarantee.

also I’m stuck on colours. Red, blue, white or yellow. really it’s between white and red, but then I see a mint blue one. Which is the rarest between blue, red and white?

That looks a very well spec’d car would cost a lot to build a car to that spec .
I wouldn’t say you are guaranteed a straight car from torque , I have had 2 cars in my shop imported by them as clean etc hiding damage underneath.
But they are definitely one of the better places to import and they do help out when there are issues mechanically most of the time .
Blue and red would be what I would look at , pretty much everyone has grey or white s15’s

hes got two of them. This ones just been imported from Ireland. He’s waiting for paperwork to come back. He’s got proof of paperwork etc.
Seems genuine.
Is 400bhp a figure that that spec would hit? Don’t think he’s got a print out for it.
can I take it without getting Uk V5 back or is it best to wait until it’s all back?

Yeah I think he has a grey one which is also really nice ?
I would have thought around 380 personally but it’s possible . Tbh wouldn’t really want more than that on a stock box anyway ! They are bloody quick at that sort of power so I’m sure you would enjoy it .

I would go for a coloured one personally (blue, red, yellow) for the same reasons as Peglio said to be honest.






...mind you I’m biased because I have a blue one haha.

That one you linked is expensive but it has a massive spec and again, as has been said, it would cost a lot to spec it to that yourself. There isn’t really anything left to do on it though but if you just want something that’s already “done” per se then that would be a good one.

There’s a build thread somewhere for that blue one. Passed hands a few times in the past couple of months but it was a well built car back in the day

hes said he’ll get it serviced, fit new tyres. It’s just gone through MOT too.
hes throwing in a carbon bonnet too, though does need lacquer....
avoid it or?

does look like a good build, a lot of little niggles but hopefully been sorted now.
its on the ramps now getting serviced.
anyone know of any specialists in the North West? Want to upgrade the ECU and get a remap.

if I don’t get this one, still definitely in the market. Bank has accepted the loan and a deposit has been paid on mine :D

That blue one should have an apexi power fc already in it we it did what raystang owned it. Last time i seen that car on the dyno it was pushing out around 410 i think.

Do you know any more information on it “sniffy”. Didn’t have any issues mapping it? Or anything else worth knowing about it? Obviously it was a while ago to remember!
just don’t want to get it to find out it’s been crashed a few times and blown up!

When Ray had that car it wanted for nothing. No expenses was spared on it. It was mapped by the same lad that mapped my own S15 and there were no issues with it as far as i know. Now I think that car was sold to another lad in Ireland before it was brough to the UK so I cant say anything about it after Ray had it.

Did Ray not have it running on some kind of fuel adative? or was that his next plan before he sold it? It was a while ago now. Top car when Ray had it.

It was running E85 for a while but switched back to petrol when E85 couldnt be got anymore. I was running E85 as well great stuff.

Yup had her running on e85 back in the day making 450bhp without any engine/head work. Running perfect when I sold it except for boost drop up higher in the revs. Making 400 bhp when I sold it. Don't think it was ever rechecked on power./health. I would recommend getting her to a good tuner to get everything checked out. And remapped your local fuel.

Hi raystang!
Quite a bit has been taken off it by the looks of it. No longer on Brembo's and the Z32 maf has been taken off, so it's running badly and nowhere near that power.
Air fuel ratio is everywhere and boost drops. (not really noticeable driving though). Once I've got some money, it'll be going on Link G and mafless.
Body kit seam is appearing on the wings too.
Needs a bit of work basically. But I'll bring it back to how it was when you had it!
Don't suppose you've got the magazine you had a feature in, to sell and pass on.... :D
