just wondering, seeing as the s15 is an import, how hard is it to get standard parts. say for instance you broke you front aero bumper or had your rear light smashed, is it as simple as calling into your local nissan garage and ordering the parts would there be much of a wait?
being a vw owner ive been let down by the dealer on numerous occasions on their stupidy and the hastle of ordering parts. this is basicly one of the reasions why ive seen the light of the rising sun and now working my butt of for an S15.

Most mechanical parts are the same as the S14.

Virtually all parts can be ordered via Perfectrun or Japanparts (look for the Sticky in the For Sale section). Parts are considerably cheaper ordered from Japan, even including shipping. Panels and bumpers will be a problem as they can't be air shipped at a reasonable cost. Japanparts will ship be sea though.

All S15 specific parts can be ordered via Nissan GB, but be prepared to wait 3-12 weeks to get them if they've never been order before. Also be prepared to pay any figure Nissan pluck out of the air.

You CANNOT order any JDM accessory parts via Nissan GB. Their parts system cannot cope with them. This includes all Aero body kit parts. So, if you stuff your Aero bumper, you will need to pay ?650-700 for the bumper, and another couple of hundred to get it sea shipped. And, yes, that is the Nissan Japan price. Its an ABS bumper and comes colour coded, which is why it cost so much.
