There's a lovely 8k mile one on Autotrader at the mo for ?24k...
Thats true, but its very expensive.

I would be looking at 11 - 13k for one, but at the lower end of the scale would be looking for previous accident damage

Happy hunting, keep us posted as you go

Also, and feel free to ignore this if you want, but I'm wandering how many of you bought your cars outright, as opposed to with a loan ?!?
I just ask as the one's for ?13k are stretching my budget a bit, so I might need a small loan (say ?3k) to fill in the gap... what do you all think about how much an S15 will be worth in say 2 or 3 years?
i did a little price check yesterday.
And it seems like the S15 is priced similar to what it was when i bought mine 9 month ago. (Prices in Japan)

So the resale value is top notch

Edit: I only checked -99 year model. So I might suspect that the newer ones may drop a bit in price. But not much.

Ah but then there is the turbo issue, early models, i.e. ~00 have a T28BB turbo, newer models have a none Ball Bearing turbo.

Not much of an issue i know, and there is info on here somewhere about it

Here you go

Not a great issue, but IMO the BB turbo spools quicker.

One of my main reasons for buying an S15 was residual values. They have lost about ?500-1000 in two years. And that has slowed in the second year. :)

I'm 24 (although 25 in Jan, and won't be getting one bewfore then!), 5 years NCB.

So what do you all reckon to those silver ones (blue one is a bit expensive) on Torque Imports??
They seem pretty good from what little info there is... although I'd prefer one with the Aero front bumper, obviously!!

The silver ones have been at Torque Imports for as long as i can remember. Doesnt mean there is anything wrong with them, Nicely bought his car through them and has sung there praises ever since.

Blue one is nice if you can push it a little

They're fine. Standard. Your choice: you get 17s on one, but no Aero kit. Aero kit on the other, but standard alloys.

Of course, Pewter is the most common colour. :p

The blue one is worth the extra ?1k. Not too many serious mods, but enough. The alloys, brakes, seats and exhaust are worth well over the ?1k by themselves. Then there's the exclusivity of blue... Doesn't have the Aero kit though...

You want to check if they still have them. I lot of companies keep sold cars on there web sites to gain interest.

Seriously though, they look good, but not as good as the blue looks in the flesh... I should know: I've owned one of each. :D

What about black??
Is it only Kieran in the UK who's got a black one?
