Quicker then it should be?

I was traveling down a motorway near my home and a 64 plate golf R was next to me. We all know what you do and the golf driver had the same Intentions as we both had to slow to 50 for a speed camera. And the golf could not pull on my I stayed ahead and pulling slowly.

so I did abit of didnt I to figures and it should be running over 260bhp as the older model does that my question is how is it possible that mine is faster?

He definatly was trying because we were in triple figures, he couldn't of messed a gear because they are DSG boxes so either padel shift or auto. Maybe it is the weight but mine does weigh 1300kg

260hp Golf shouldn't be much of a problem for an S15??

I would have thought the weight would have made the difference as the golf must be quite a bit heavier than a 15 and power is almost the same

Almost 300hp, heavier, available in manual ( slower but lighter)
Don't personally think there should be a lot in it .

I raced a new golf R in a Maserati gran turismo and he was all over my tail. That's with a 2 tonne 370bhp Italian stallion! So looks like your 15 did well!
