Hey guys,

As you may all be aware, I have recently purchased a Toyota Supra MK4 1994 2jz as a new project.

So with a sad heart this means I will shortly have to sell my current Nissan Silvia S15 Spec S.

I would love to keep both if I could afford it, but with the price of parts and fuel etc, I'm not currently in the position to do so :(

She has been well looked after in the 3 years I have owned her. Slowly restoring her piece by piece.

It goes for a service every six months and has oil and filters changed every time. I do a full service on occasion as well which is, brake fluid, coolant, spark plugs.

Currently 72000miles on the clock, but she runs great.

Every time I take her to Horsham Developments they always comment on the condition of the car and that its just begging for a turbo.

So basically just wanted your guys opinion on what she might be worth now with all the upgrade. Here is the spec:

Seems quite low buddy, considering 2 others sold for around £6000 in the last month?

I had been offered £6000 by a garage recently as well.

When it comes to sell i would hope to sell for around £6000 to £7000 if im lucky, otherwise there is no point selling up really :/

The tomei exhaust and fujitsubo header alone were £1850 and recently new.

You never make money back in a car when it's modded. You can pick up spec r's for 7k...

JIB can't even get a decent price for his Spec R !

You're best to break it mate. I doubt your gonna get £6000 for a spec S

Thing is highly modified ones, that have been drifted, has engine swaps etc will never fetch decent money! With these cars the majority of people will want minimaly modified and original cars and will pay more for them too!
Which unfortunately backfires as they end up modifiying them as S15's are too slow and soft as standard! So your better off buying one modified already.

But then again its more fun building your own car instead of buying a modded one.

I think he'll get 5k for it. And its a good price

Take the offer of 6k, you'll never get higher than that as Spec S's just don't fetch that kind of money. I will be doing an engine swap in my Spec S soon and i was told i would be lucky to get £150 for the Sr20de engine as there is zero demand! I thought that was crazy but there you go

For mods done to the car, you'll be lucky to make back 50% of the costs. You can't really add what you've paid for various parts while figuring out the sale price. It's annoying, but you'll make back more if you were to part out the performance bits.

Hey guys,

Will most likely now be putting my S15 up for sale at the very end of April or begining of May now.

I have decided that I am going to advertise her at the £6000 mark, as she is a very good example.

Will most likely advertise her on here, pistonheads and ebay.

If you are interested or know anyone who might be interested, please feel free to PM me ;)

A little teaser image of my S15:
