Just wondering what insurance company people are with. I tries to get insured with Sky but they wudnt insure me as i have no performance rear wheel drive experience. Was this the same for anybody else?
Will be insuring mine with Admiral however its hit and miss as some s15's i can insure for £1000 but other are like £4000

Adrian flux are still about but they wanted £3800 for my astra sri turbo which i can insure for £800 now, so they'll probably want alot for an s15

I'm 21 with 4 years ncb, only £450 with Admiral in the s15 spec r. Will be changing to Greenlight this year though for more peace of mind

How on earth did you get £450 jinli? I'm 21 with 4 years NCB and I'm paying £900 for a Spec S but then again I'm in Ireland :p Is that fully comp?
10 months policy and fully comp aye, but added my two sisters to make it cheaper. The certificate seemed legit and details correct, so I made em take my money. My cars fairly standard as well :)
Have you tried comparing your quotes with a spec r?

I would watch it with admiral, if that was from a comparison site it comes up under the wrong car, (import s14 I think) And your insurance will be invalid. When I did mine i did it over the phone and had to change it to the right one. Can't remember the name differences now though, but they were similar!
My policy cost £700 at 22 but would have been £600 if I hadn't changed the car

Did it through admiral themselves. I live in a crap area which is probably why its high.

Im 21 atm, got 2 years no claims and 1 non-fault claim, been driving since i was 17
Yeah i did quotes on confused.com and i was trying reg's from different s15's and they were all different. One was a legitimate silvia spec r, some were just nissan silvia's, one was a silvia zx which is the very first silvia i believe. And if i have to input it manually i can only choose a 1997-2001 nissan silvia which is the s14. Im going to try getting quotes from adrian flux, brentacre and greenlight i think it is

Try greenlight They were by far and away the best for my car, admittedly it's a 14a not a 15 ikt's also not an import. It's pretty well modified though.
