Hi guys,

I realize Ive been posting a few threads recently lol, but there is so much im wanting to do with the S15 at the moment whilst I have the time.

Anyway, this is just a quick one really.

Im looking to remove the central dash, where the cigarette lighter is and so fourth, I'm aware of how to undo it, but wondered whether the dash buttons i.e cigarette lighter are attached to the panel?

If so do i need to disconnect any wiring to detach this panel and would this mean I would need to disconnect the car battery before doing so?

Or is it safe to just unplug the panel buttons with the car off?

Thanks again!

Regards

Ash

It is attached to the panel mate if you don't want to unplug the cables ( even though its entirely safe so long as the ignition is off) the panel is just held in with 3 Phillips head screws so you can just undo it ;)

Yes it's safe to unplug the lighter and hazard light plugs, as been said unscrew the panel after you remove the gear shift surround, then un plug the said fittings
