I just got some federals for £40 off my mate as he needed rid of them.
They look like a good tyre to me

But I just bought some Achilles for my mrs' Evo and they are grippy as ****!

When my car needs new tyres I might get some myself !!

Can't wait to take it out for a drive on a nice day.

The proxes she has on are worn out

For the tyres to wear that much from new in three months is crazy.

My falkens are due for replacement shortly, I think I'll give the bridgestone RE070's a try following the good reviews.

Goodyear Eagle F1 A2 here and loving them. They are incredible in the wet! 235 front and 255 rear on my S15.

Out of interest what is everybody running for cold front and rear tyre pressures? I think I have mine set too high (40 front, 32 rear). Is 35 front and 32 rear (cold) a good balance for tyre life, rolling resistance, grip and comfort?

I run 225/40/18 up front and I set them to 30psi as when abit hotter they will rise to 32-35psi. So it balances out equally. If your going for grip run 30psi all round. 33 for motorway driving. And 40psi in the rear for some fun times!

Well I went from bridgestone re070's to goodyear eagle f1 2's. I can report that the dry grip level is pretty equal between the two tyres but the wet grip with the goodyears, wow, just wow! Very confidence inspiring!
