Just changed my oil

I've just changed my oil and done the fuel filter today. I always write on the top of the oil filter the mileage and date when I change the oil.

The one I took off was done at 86163 km on 23/6/11, and now I've only gone up to 88250 km. Only 2087 km, or 1304 miles in a bit over a year! I must start using it a bit more really :wack:

2000ks of hard driving is = to 7000 - 10000ks of normal driving, i change my oil every 2000 - 3000ks for that exact reason, where the wifes swift gets oil every 10000ks.

I do mine every 6 months or 3k better safe than sorry

I always change mine every 6 months no matter what milage is on it, oil goes off over time as well, that's why they recommend 5K's or 6 months

S15 gets every 2-3k, swift every 10k................. hilux gets old oil from S15 and swift as it uses it.... go the old hilux!!!!!!!
