Hey people, just have a quick query as all. Here in Northern Ireland we are blessed with being attached to the south of Ireland and because of that any cars on the road must have dual marked speedo's i.e. MPH and KPH.

Now when I do get an S15 I will need to ensure that my car reads on both MPH and KPH other wise I would be looking at a fail, so I was wondering where in the hell could I get a dual marked speedo from? Would it just be a case of getting some stickers up?

Any ideas?

Could you have a switch that alternates the reading between KPH and MPH?

I think you'll struggle to find one thats got dual markings, as they were only available in countries that use km/h.

I use a Defi link display to show my speed. It would be an expensive way to get dual speed reading, but I imagine it would be okay. Seat Leon's have only got their speedo marked in mp/h and have a small km/h digital display, and I'm sure some Mercedes I've driven have been the same setup, and they must be okay in Ireland.

I was speaking to mook a while ago about getting a set of customs dials that used the old kph as the mph markings and had the kph version to marked on. Needed it for a holiday drive across Europe but that fail through and mook had stopped coming back on PM's so i didn't bother to chase him up.

He does have a dedicated site so i was thinking of contacting him via that in the future, need to try to do something for next year myself again.
