whats' the deal with the vet engine?? i obviously know what the sr det engine's are all about but can someone give me a small explination about what the vet engine comes from and so on??

I can't remember every benefit... No rocker assembly, so more reliable at higher revs. Intake ports are huge compared to det head, variable timing on inlet and exhaust cams, larger valves?

In short, if you've got money to spend on a ridiculous sr20 then the vet head is the way to go.

205mph. That's awesome. I bet it's not running much more than 450bhp. I got 170 on gps in mine and that's only 320 and still had a bit to go. The aerodynamics on these cars is very good.

I was wondering about the transmission because the standard drivetrain is only good for about 180 iirc.

I think the standard SR20VET only came in a JDM X-Trail or something. 280PS.
