The rolling shell on dw is well worth it, its my old write off car, fully repaired but needs paint etc. My mate just can't afford to put it all together coz he bought a house instead. He has all the parts as well....

I could buy my old 15 back but... I've already spent over £5k on tuning parts already... yes most things will go into S15 but aero parts and rollcage won't... plus I CBA to mess about with engine installs on a rolling shell, gearbox, diff etc :wack: The S14a base car I've got has a decent running setup, just needs all my upgrade bits to go on plus rollcage and seats to go in too :)

Meddler - I am very glad you didn't ban me properly... thx m8 rly gud ov ya :D :p

Ha ha. Never a dull moment James.
Car looks good. Will definetly look better with the coilys on, oh and maybe a colour change on the wheels. Anthracite would look good. :)
lol you know me matey!! Yeah always been fan of anthracite/gunmetal rims against red car... deffo gonna consider this when I have the spare dollars as I'm currently spending everything on the track 14a lol :wack:

Ok chaps - now that I have working broadband in the house (woop!!), I can upload pics onto my web server and give proper update with piccies!! :D

Some photos shot just after Lex-arse was dropped on some sexy Meister R coilovers - thanks Gav and the team at Speed Factory  These coilover systems are immense!!! Perfect for daily and fast road... feel just as good as factory mild upgrade so not harsh but much, much better than stock ;)

And this one shot more recently around where I live...

Cheers - J

Done anymore with this recently James? If not, your slacking!
Also got some nice work wheels for sale that would suit the altezza down to the ground :p

Update!!

Ok, quite a few things going on recently...

We all know this Lex-arse was bought as a daily driver since I have the S14a project well underway for track fun next year... so it's only logical as a modification addict and general Jap scene whore to keep messing with her lol :rotfl:

Jase wanted to buy my AVS wheels so that meant I needed to go shopping for a new set of shoes... enter Rota GTR Drifts 17x9 +25 in bronze all round :) Yes I can hear all the 'bah Rota' tuts in the background but I'm on my 4th set in 3 years (GTR 17x9.5, GTR-D 18x9.5, SVN-R 18x10 and these) so for the money, I can't find any design I like better and thanks to Gav @ Speed Factory for supplying them as always

Got all four arches rolled thanks to Craig :notworthy: who had a proper rolling tool which meant I could just about drop her to the ideal height and the natural neg camber from more lowering meant the stance was pretty much there (JameS15 don't start on your 'it's not low till your sump scrapes the deck' sh*t lol)...

My mate Karl then gets in touch a couple of weeks ago about some SXE10 sideskirts going cheap - only £40  He sent over some pics mock fitted to his Lex-arse and I thought 'yeah these will go on mine'. So picked them up last Tue and after getting a couple of 3P0 rattle cans made up in Halfrauds, I prepped and then applied red primer to begin with:

This is how it looked scotched and pre-primer:

After leaving for 24 hours, applied basecoat and then finally the topcoat:

So armed with 6 bolts, I was able to finally fit them onto the Lex-arse and pretty damn happy with the result!!

Already purchased a Chargespeed rear bumper from Dan @ SRB (cheers Dan!) which was in stock and going cheaper than normal RRP. Will hopefully be able to round off the kitted look and get than primed and painted myself within the next few weeks... watch this space!! :D

Cheers

James
