Hola

Well as some of you know, with the S15 up for sale (definitely up for sale lol!!) I went up to JM Imports in Newcastle just over a week ago to collect my new car: Nissan Stagea RS :)

She's a rare RS version with RB25DET which means RWD instead of AWD something I'm very happy about - didn't fancy AWD sapping more power from engine and drinking more fuel :wack: Also I jumped on this one as soon as Jurgen had her up for sale because she has the Masa R34 GTR front end conversion hence she's called the M-34R. This includes front wings, bonnet and bumper to match an R34 GTR as well as R34 Xenon headlights (expensive!!) and also Masa side skirts and optional rear spoiler to make the whole car look much, much better than stock ;)

I've not really been able to push her hard cos the weekend I went up to collect her the snow had literally started bad everywhere so it was a slow 5 hour journey back home from the north. Also, Jurgen had already told me the coilpacks were playing up so he sent some direct to my house which were fitted by myself last weekend and this was much more of a pain on the RB25DET since loads of induction pipes and harnesses have to be removed to get to the back 3 coilpacks grrr!!!

Anyways, she has some tasty mods already like the Masa kit, 350Z Brembo brakes all round, R34 GTR wheels (18 x 9) and also expensive R34 GTR front seats which I'm told are worth around £800!!

Comments welcome as always :) BTW - Jurgen from JM is a top bloke and was almost going to keep this one for himself lol...

Cheers - J

Heh that is a crazy spec mate.
I still yet to see one of these cars with my own eyes. I think it looks better than the r35 front end.

Fair play James, that looks great. Looks like it could have left the factory like that. The front end fits in perfectly!
Better looking than the 35 stagea.
You must be well chuffed with her.
Got any pics of the inside with the GTR seats.
Be ideal for the family, and all your photo gear.

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Yeah I'm really, really chuffed with her and with the S15 not sold, I took her out for a spin yesterday (some drift moves on the storage carpark where it's literally half covered in ice haha)... and both the Stagea and S15 offer rewards/enjoyment in very different ways.

It's nice not to have to drive the twin plate clutch everyday as after about a year of it I was getting fed up of stalling occassionally on the school run or in bad traffic grrr!! :wack: The Stagea does pull very smooth and it's amazing to feel so much performance considering she's 1600+ kgs?! I've managed to give her more of a proper drive since there's been less snow around and she's got some sort of manual boost controller setup to around 0.8 bar. On gear changes with foot to the floor, when changing from 3rd to 4th, she pops and bangs like crazy haha :D

But I'll ditch the manual boost controller and get a Gizzmo IBC next year as it'll be nice to set all of this up properly and with fuel pump can take her up to 1 bar easy (oh and will also need a cheeky decat hehe) ;)

Tooley - I'm only bringing her to Pod to carry peoples' extra tyres lol... ain't gonna skid in this baby she's too heavy and I CBA to even try properly with autospastic box :p :D

Martin - sure thing mate I'll be wanting to arrange a visit to take pics with your stunning M35 GTR next year so will be in touch  I bought the latest Banzai mag and see you had a feature with Dean's black one. That's a minter as well!!

Will try and get some interior piccies sorted soon - just been tooooo cold to faff with lots of pics and people who know me know I don't just like to take a flash heavy snap... needs to be done properly lol

congrats it looks like a well sorted stagea and in excellent condition as to be expected if Jurgen at JM-Imports supplied to you, as he is very fussy on what he sells.
