Well folks...

It's been a looong ass Friday (and night lol). The past month has seen quite a few changes to the ol' Silvia :) First major news is that I've been lucky enough to secure a year's sponsorship deal for the S15 with a local company called easyrepair who have injected cash into my tuning project - in return I get to plaster their logo on my car and whilst at it, I though about getting the 'full works' hehe. So here she is... the easyrepair S15 Silvia - ready for track and drift action woop!!

The recent chapter begins with an A'PEXi induction filter - until I get rid of heat-soak in the engine bay there's not much of an advantage having this over the panel filter but the sucking and jet engine noise is back haha :D Next came the Driftworks 3D carbon-fibre BGW which I know is not everyone's cup of tea but it's in my plans so it stays... for now :p Then came the eagerly awaited Yashio Factory rear LED light units (smoked) ordered via RHDJapan. Also in the same order from Japan was a Defi BF 60mm boost gauge to compliment the Defi display unit I had installed a while back.

Also recently ordered is an Apex Performance Type 2 FMIC, Gizzmo MS-IBC boost controller (highly recommended by Driftworks who use it in their R32) and a Walbro 255 fuel pump - all yet to be fitted ;) There's been a few late nights on my own with the LED lamp under the hood working on the car so it was time to get other people involved working on the Silvia lol...

Starting with Friday afternoon at 1.30pm - dropped the car off at local tint and graphics outfit and helped Rob put all the sponsor decals onto the motor:

New sun visor with LuPix advertising (LuPix Photography is my pro photography business)...

Rob measuring to get everything lined up correctly...

Mario 1UP FTW!!!

Nearly done...

Then straight after getting the decals sorted, was off to local bodyshop to get the new RE-Amemiya Pro replica rear diffuser fitted :) Daz has worked wonders - getting something that was made for the RX-7 and subsequently cutting, smoothing, repairing, re-enforcing and painting the fibreglass for a custom job... TOP MAN!!! Think these babies are pretty rare - not known any person in the UK to fit this on an S15 - was always hoping to 'finish off' the backend once the BGW was on the car and this is it.

That matt black Daz used is wiicked :)

Rear quarter on passenger side was coming a bit loose so out with the bonder and some masking tape lol... only temporary!!

So after a long day which included picking up the kids from nursery straight after the diffuser was fitted, there was still no rest. With the weather being lousy but at least not raining, I took my chance at 11pm to nip out for some night shots of all the new stuff on the car... ENJOY!!!

Comments welcome as always - thanks for reading :)

Looking nice mate, you must be chuffed :)

Rear diffuser is top banana, looking for something like that for mine - would they do another, or something similar do you think?

Cheers fellas - yeah Brides are just too tempting lol :D

mook - the rear diffuser I've got is basically an FRP/fibreglass copy of the RE-Amemiya Pro diffuser which is designed for the RX-7. All you need is check out eBay and there's plenty of replica FRP versions. The genuine CF item from RE-A is about £600+ Prob more at today's shoite rates??!!

But eBay ones were sub £300 the last time I looked about 6 months ago...

All you need to do is to get a bodyshop to custom fit it with hanging brackets and attach the ends to rear quarters or aftermarket rear bumper if you have one

My inspiration came form the Garage Mak S15 - they also used the RE-A Pro diffuser custom fitted...

But they've got the vertical generators (middle blades within the middle opening) which I'm gonna try and source ;)

Mario is on the small quarter windows both sides ;)

My 15 has not been repainted at all - just the original blue Nissan put on it :)
